the final part of the residents association series from cactus island comes from label co-owner broca. and it was definitely worth the wait! broca has constructed four beautifully dense tracks with amazingly detailed programming and some truly luscious textures. the first track has an almost 4/4 feel to the beats and a glitch / minimal kind of tone which makes it surprisingly groovy (in an understated sort of way). from there it's onto some amazing tracks that are dreamlike and superbly arranged with gorgeous sounds and crispy, crunchy beats. a highly recommended little collectable. smallfish records
